I think one of Kinfolks biggest successes is how they compose there pages. The minimalist approach that kinfolk strive for comes from the the way they create white space and where they position there text in relation to the image. I did some research on how there pages are composed and these are just a small example of compostions of there pages.
When i go to edit and crop my photographs i need to consider where they might sit on a page and how white space and text while fit around them.
These are a variety of compositions most popular in both cook books and food and living magazines such as kinfolk.
